Working with Anastasia
Interpol work divides into two very different problems, and they need different preparation. Challenging a notice that already exists means building a file for the Commission for the Control of Interpol’s Files: an access request first, so that the actual basis of the notice is known rather than guessed at, then a submission on the grounds that are genuinely available — the political or military character of the case under Article 3, inaccurate or insufficient data, or a purpose that has ceased to exist. Defending an extradition request in an Israeli court is a separate exercise, governed by the Extradition Law 5714-1954 and its statutory bars. Where both are live at once, they have to be run together, because what is established in one forum is evidence in the other.
